Katey Wood assists in The 451 Group's coverage of enterprise search, text analysis and other areas of information retrieval, as part of its overall information management coverage area.

Prior to working at The 451 Group, she worked on the local business intelligence implementation for New York's State-Wide Automated Child Welfare Information System. Her experience working with content-related technologies began with mounting Art History exam slides on the Web in 1997 at the Wellesley College Art Library.

Katey holds a double MS in Information Systems and Library Science from Drexel University, where she concentrated on content representation, competitive intelligence and analysis of information systems. She has also studied in the Cultural Criticism and Reporting program at the NYU Graduate Journalism School and holds a BA from Wellesley College.
